Who owns the lands sold by americalands.com ?

At americalands.com we own all the properties we sell. We do not sell property that does not belong to us. We are not brokers or realtors so we do not sell property for other people. We cut out all the middle man.

What is an Escrow Company ?

An escrow company will hold your funds and not release them to the seller until the title is transferred to you, unless agreed to otherwise by yourself and the seller.

What form of payment do you accept ?

All transactions are closed through an escrow company. The escrow requires that funds be paid at close of escrow with a cashier’s check or through a wire transfer from your bank to their’s.

Do I have to be in the USA to buy a land ?

No, you can do the transaction remotely.

What are the closing fees ?

Our closing fee is only $180 per land.

Can I buy more than one land ?

Yes, you can buy as many lands as you want.

When do I get the Deed to my land ?

Once you pay for a land in full, your title to the land will be conveyed via Special Warranty Deed within thirty (30) business days. AmericaLands commits to signing all paperwork necessary to transfer ownership and deliver a Special Warranty deed to the recorder/clerk of the county the property is located. In addition you will receive copies of the notarized deed via mail so you can have proof that AmericaLAnds has issued the deed to you. After the recording of the original Warranty deed is completed the county will then return it directly to you. Depending on the County it may take 4-14 weeks for the county to mail the recorded deed back to you.

What guarantees do you offer ?

AmericaLands guarantee that the property is free and clear of any governmental or private liens or encumbrances other than recurring assessments or bonds. Basically we guarantee that at the point of ownership transfer from AmericaLands to you, the property is free and clear and has a marketable title.
